Mona L. O'Connor joined the firm in 2008 and is currently a partner with O'Connor Law Offices, LLC. She is a J.D., C.P.A. and her primary areas of practice include estate planning and trust administration. Prior to joining the firm, Mona earned her law degree from DePaul University and has held the following positions:
- Director at Deutsche Bank in the Private Wealth Management Group,
- Vice President at LaSalle Bank, and
- Manager at a “Big Four” accounting firm in both the audit and tax groups working on a variety of financial services clients.
Since joining O'Connor Law Offices, LLC, Mona has received rave reviews and testimonials from her many clients for her extraordinary knowledge, skill and patience. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and trust administration issues and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Wealth Counsel. In addition to being a member of WealthCounsel, Mona is on the Board of the Illinois WealthCounsel Forum and serves as the organization's Secretary and Forum meeting training coordinator. In addition, she is the recipient of the 2021 WealthCounsel Leadership Award. This award recognizes one who works to bring other attorneys together to build stronger relationships with each other and with WealthCounsel.
